You may request that we delete your personal information. Although we do not “sell” your personal information for money, we may use some of your personal information for advertising, which may constitute a “sale” under certain privacy laws. • Objection To Certain Processing. We do not currently recognize the “Do Not Track” signal. • Promotional Emails. You may choose to provide us with your email address for the purpose of allowing us to send free newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials to you, as well as targeted offers from third parties. You can stop receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in emails that you receive. If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you service-related communications. • Revocation Of Consent. Where we process your personal information based upon consent, you may revoke consent. Please note that if you revoke your consent for the processing of personal information, then we may no longer be able to provide you services. Please note that not all of the rights described above are absolute, and they do not apply in all circumstances. In some cases, we may limit or deny your request because the law permits or requires us to do so, or if we are unable to adequately verify your identity. If you are an authorized agent submitting a request on behalf of an individual, you must attach a copy of a completed Authorized Agent Designation Form indicating that you are able to act on another person’s behalf.
For your convenience, we may provide links to websites and other third-party content or services that we do not own or operate. The websites and third-party content to which we link may have separate privacy notices or policies. Please note that we have no control over the privacy practices websites, or services that we do not own. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website or application for details about such third party’s privacy practices.
We collect the following categories of sensitive personal information (as defined under California law): social security, driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number; account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account; information concerning health; and biometric information. This information is collected in order to process transactions, comply with laws, manage our business, or provide you with services. AIR does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information on the Site from children under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. If AIR learns that, despite these measures, a child under the age of 13 has submitted personally identifiable information to AIR through the Site, it will take reasonable measures to delete such information from its records and to not use such information for any purpose (except where necessary to protect the safety of the child or others as required by law).
AIR is committed to protecting the security of any personal information you provide to us. We maintain commercially reasonable safeguards to maintain the security and privacy of personal information that you provide to us. In spite of these protections, AIR cannot guarantee the security of any data submitted over the Internet. After your information reaches AIR, however, it is stored on servers (or in the case of information received from you in person, in writing or over the phone, in physical storage areas) protected by procedures and technology designed to block reasonably foreseeable intrusions by unauthorized third parties. After you have submitted your information online to AIR, we recommend that you end your browser session before leaving your computer.
Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature. This feature lets you tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. These features are not yet uniform across browsers nor is there a common agreement about how to implement these features or interpret user intent. Our services are not currently set up to respond to those signals.
In some instances, where you have applied for employment with AIR or have applied for residency at one of the apartments listed on our site, we will provide your information to a screening company in order to obtain a screening report for the property manager or owner. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.), you may have the right to access, view and correct credit information relating to you held by a credit bureau by contacting the credit bureau.
